This “Thunder and Shadows” collage earned a "Distinguished" award at Tennessee Professional Photographers’ s Photo Extreme Spring Workshop. The images of the historic Shadow Can Am cars are from the 2016 Walter Mitty Challenge at Road Atlanta. A part of the 50th Anniversary Can Am field at the Mitty, these Shadows dominated the 1974 Can Am series, taking first (#101, Jackie Oliver) and second (#102, George Follmer) in the season point standings. They were driven at the Mitty by Craig Bennett and Dave Handy. Craig had a terrible crash in qualifying and our thoughts and prayers are with him as he continues to recover from his injuries.
